Summer Teaching Fellow Application

The completion of this application is required for all candidates seeking summer employment with Pathfinder at Hopkins School. Please note that we have a limited number of positions available. In ordered to be considered you must:

  3. Share a video of a sample lesson. The link to your video can be provided in this application or emailed to pathfinder@hopkins.edu.

ALL THREE requirements must be received by March 1st to be considered for employment.

If you answered "yes" to the previous question please tell us when and what your responsibilities entailed. *
Teaching Fellows (TFs) work with Professional Teachers. You will be required to assist with lesson planning, grading and classroom management. The following core classes will most likely be taught by Professional Teachers this summer. Rank the core classes in order of 1-4 (1 = I would MOST like to be a TF for this course!)
Working at Pathfinder for the summer is a job with real responsibilities involving serving and supervising children. As such, daily attendance for the entirety of the work day is fundamental to being able to perform your job as a Teaching Fellow.

  • Teaching Fellow hours are from 7:45am - 3:45pm, Monday through Friday, including an on-campus lunch and several breaks.
  • Teaching Fellow Orientation will be June 24 - 28, 2024.
  • The Summer Program will run July 1, 2024 to August 2, 2024. Pathfinder will observe the Independence Day on July 4 and 5.
