Summer Teaching Fellow Application

The completion of this application is required for all candidates seeking summer employment with Pathfinder at Hopkins School. Please note that we have a limited number of positions available. If you answered "yes" to the previous question please tell us when and what your responsibilities entailed. *

Working at Pathfinder for the summer is a job with real responsibilities involving serving and supervising children. As such, daily attendance for the entirety of the work day is fundamental to being able to perform your job as a Teaching Fellow.

Teaching Fellow hours are from 7:45am - 3:45pm, Monday through Friday, including an on-campus lunch and several breaks.
Teaching Fellow Orientation will be June 24 - 28, 2024.
The Summer Program will run July 1, 2024 to August 2, 2024. Pathfinder will observe the Independence Day on July 4 and 5.

Before being considered for the position, please affirm the following: 1. I have checked my calendar and am able to attend each day of Pathfinder Orientation and Summer Program.

2. I have no known conflicts for any part of the Pathfinder work day from 7:45am - 3:45pm on any Pathfinder Day.

3. I do not foresee any problems with arriving on campus and being at my first responsibility of the day by 7:45am.

4. I have not and will not schedule any vacations, elective medical or dental procedures, or other appointments during the Pathfinder Day.

5. I understand that I am expected to be on campus and working on my Pathfinder responsibilities until 3:45 each Pathfinder Day; leaving earlier than the scheduled end of the day requires a written request and written approval from a Pathfinder Summer Co-Director.

6. I understand that no requests for extending the Independence Day weekend will be granted.
